醫管局網頁備有經濟審查計算程式供病人／申請人初步評估其家庭財務狀況是否符合申請醫療費用減免、撒瑪利亞基金或關愛基金醫療援助項目的資格，惟所得之結果僅供參考。病人／申請人必須正式提交申請，並符合申請資格，包括通過醫務社工／社工／行政主任的經濟審查，方可獲得減免或基金資助。此外，病人／申請人亦可利用該經濟審查計算程式，在病人家庭的財政狀況／病人領取綜援的資格有變時，檢視自己是否仍符合獲得醫療費用減免或基金資助的資格。

There are Means Test Calculators on the HA’s website available for the patient / applicant to make a preliminary estimation of his / her household financial eligibility for Medical Fee Waiving, Samaritan Fund or Community Care Fund Medical Assistance Programmes applications. However, the result of the self-assessment is for reference only. To be eligible for assistance, the patient / applicant must submit a formal application and fulfil all of the eligibility criteria including passing the financial assessment conducted by MSWs / SWs / EOs. In addition, when there are any changes in financial status of the patient’s household / CSSA status of the patient, the patient / the applicant can utilize the Means Test Calculator to check his / her eligibility regularly.
